Learn the
Alphabet
A Fun, Structured Way for Young Children and ESL Learners to Master Their ABCs
Give your child a strong foundation in reading and writing — without overwhelm.
Whether your child is just starting out or learning English as a second language, this step-by-step alphabet course introduces letters in a clear, simple way that makes sense to young learners.
Meet Teacher Heather:
My experience:
-More than 10 years in the classroom teaching children to read (age 4-6, then Grade 1)
-Over five years online teaching ESL to children
What makes this course different?
Instead of jumping all over the alphabet, we teach letters in logical groups based on how they’re written — so it’s easier to remember and practice.
We use:
🎨 Visual cues
✋ Hand actions for meaning
✍️ Worksheets for writing
📽️ Videos for letter sounds
This multi-sensory approach helps letters stick — especially for ESL learners who need more than just repetition.
Watch, learn and do...
My mission: to get your kid knowing their 26 sounds in a fun way!
🧠 The Four Fun Learning Groups
We’ve grouped letters by how they’re written. This makes it easier for your child to notice patterns and develop writing confidence.
💛 Yellow Group: c, o, a, g, d, q
💙 Blue Group: e, s, v, w, x, y, z
💚 Green Group: l, b, h, k, t, f
🖤 Black Group: i, j, m, n, u, r, p
Each group includes:
🎥 A short, engaging video lesson
✍️ A printable writing worksheet
👋 Simple action-based explanations for ESL support
🕒 How Long Will It Take?
You can work at your own pace. Most families complete the course in 4–8 weeks, depending on your child’s age and experience.
Younger learners (3–4 years): Go slow and repeat often
Older or ESL learners: May move faster with more focus
You can do:
One group per week, or
Half a group every few days for more manageable chunks

Love teacher Heather! Thank you for your patience and caring. Teacher Heather noticed the smallest clue from my child and realized that she didn't understand what shadow was in the story. And explained to her patiently again using teaching props. I was really touched seeing Zoe answer your question based on her understanding. Thank you!!
